THIS WEEK AT NORTH ANDERSON

Hello North Anderson family and friends!

We’re still celebrating the incredible weekend that the Lord blessed us with! What a great first Mission Conference we had! There was a sweet spirit in both services, vibrant worship, two incredible messages from Dr. Wolfe and Dr. Ezell, and seeing two new believers baptized on Saturday night was the icing on the cake. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

We’re looking forward to a great week at North Anderson and hope you’ll join us for:

Wednesday Night Meal & Family Meeting at 6:00pm in the Family Life Center. We’ll be sharing a meal ($8 per person or $32 max for a family) and then having a “Family Meeting” where we’ll present both our Proposed 2025 budget and Nominating Team Report for discussion. On Sunday morning, we’ll have a brief business meeting where we’ll vote on both of these items.

This Thursday at noon, we’ll have our DMA (Senior Adult) lunch and Christmas Program

The Caring Hands Ministry will meet at the home of Mary Simmons at 10:00am

On Saturday, our Women’s Ministry will be hosting a Coffee Chat and ornament exchange at 10:00am in the Family Life Center

This Sunday, we’ll continue our “Timeless Christmas” sermon series and our children will present their Christmas production at 10:30am. Also on Sunday, the True North Student Ministry will have their “I’ll Be Gnome For Christmas” scavenger hunt and Christmas party from 4:00-8:00pm

Please keep in mind that throughout the month of December, we’ll be receiving the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions! Let’s give generously and sacrificially as this offering impacts lostness globally by resourcing missionaries on the field!

Scripture Focus For The Week:
“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has life. The one who does not have the Son of God does not have life.” – 1 John 5:11-12

Prayer Emphasis For The Week:
Tajik People of Tajikistan and the missionaries that serve them

(TAH-jeeks) - Many Tajiks have very difficult lives, particularly in the wintertime. Electricity can be scarce, as can water, and their houses become very cold. They have financial struggles, difficulty finding work, and difficulty just having the essentials they need, never mind want. From a worldly perspective, they have many reasons to feel hopeless. Pray for Tajiks to have opportunities this season to hear about their only hope, Jesus. May they recognize the joy, hope, and peace that can be found in Him, no matter the circumstances!
