This Week At North Anderson

Hello North Anderson family and friends!

We just wanted to take a moment to remind you about what’s going on this week at North Anderson.

Please join us for Mid-Week Ministry opportunities this Wednesday. We have an Adult Bible Study at either 10:30am or 6:30pm in the Family Life Center (we’re finishing up Revelation 12 this week), and our Children’s Ministry and True North Student Ministry both meet at 6:30pm

As mentioned during our announcements on Sunday, if you are interested in becoming part of our music ministry in any capacity, we’d love for you to attend rehearsal this Wednesday at 5:30pm! Our choir will be working on a song that they’ll be leading on Sunday, and we need all hands on deck!

Each Thursday morning at 7:00am, our men meet for breakfast and Bible Study at 7:00am at Mama Penn’s here in town. Fellas or all ages, we’d love for you to join us.
Also, on Thursday is the funeral service for our dear sister, Mrs. Virginia Buchanon. The service will be held at 1:00 at the church. The family will receive friends from 11:00am to 12:30pm.

On Sunday, we will gather for Bible Fellowship Classes at 9:15am and for worship at 10:30am. We’ll be continuing our exposition of 1 Peter with a message from Pastor Kyle from 1 Peter 3:1-7 entitled, “A Holy Home”. We encourage you to read over/meditate upon the passage several times this week to better prepare your heart to receive the Word of truth as it is preached.

This Sunday evening at 5:00pm, we have our monthly churchwide prayer meeting and hope that you will plan to join us in the sanctuary for this special time.

Passage of scripture to focus on this week:
“Finally, all of you be like-minded and sympathetic, love one another, and be compassionate and humble, not paying back evil for evil or insult for insult but, on the contrary, giving a blessing, since you were called for this, so that you may inherit a blessing” – 2 Peter 3:8-9

Prayer Focus: Church Planting in Zimbabwe
The people of Zimbabwe face a growing economic challenge that affects ministry and pastoral support. Pastor Pfumo from Zimbabwe shares this prayer request: "Pray for the new work that we started here in Masvingo, asking that many will come to know Christ and grow in their faith. Pray that God will enable His church to grow and develop spiritually. Pray for us that no matter what we face, we will remain strong and steadfast, immovable, doing the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58)."
