Remember to always stand up for who you are, a child of God. Don’t let someone’s opinion of you become your own personal reality. You should never have to suffer or sacrifice who you are because someone else has a problem with it. Jesus said to love others, but He said to love yourself first. You must love who you are inside and out. No one else has the power to make you feel small unless you give them that power. There are those that have false hidden motives and God warns us of those. He tells us to be aware of false prophets and prophetess. He tells us to be aware of the false motives of others; to be aware of those who pretend to be brothers and sisters in Christ. The crazy thing is they are mostly the people that are closet to you. You must not only be true to yourself but more importantly true to God and He will give you spiritual discernment. These “christians”can hide only for so long and all that was done in the dark will come to light. Jesus tells us what will happen to them.
Matthew 7:15; “Be wary of false teachers who smile a lot, dripping with practiced sincerity. Chances are they are out to rip you off some way or other. Don’t be impressed with charisma; look for character. Who they really are is the main thing, not what they say. A genuine leader will never exploit your emotions or degrade others. These diseased trees with their bad apples are going to be chopped down and burned.”
