I was listening to a song by Casting Crowns that made me think of all the people who feel so unworthy and even inferior. Sure there are those that are better than us at almost anything. But how do you really see yourself? Do you long for the kind of faith to step out of your comfort zone? Do you long for the kind of faith to reach out into the realm of the unknown where Jesus is? But your past is calling out to you, laughing your name and saying; Think of all the times you have tried and failed. But the message of Jesus tells you a different story. And what you will hear is Jesus saying; “Do not be afraid! This is not for your glory or the glory of man; this is for My glory”

1 Corinthians 10:31 New International Version (NIV); “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.”
Of all the voices calling out to you, choose the one to which you will listen and believe.
Philippians 4:13; “I can do all things through Christ who strengthened me.”
Don’t let people try to discourage you from your desire and destiny to fulfill the will of God in your life. Perhaps not intentionally, but often those closest to you deter your intentions. Remember, it is your dream, not theirs. It is your calling from God, not theirs. God will equip you and He will qualify you.
2 Timothy 3:16-4:5 New International Version (NIV); “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.”
