God, why are you doing it this way? I think the best way to do that would be to….. My Father often told me that I looked for God’s approval of my will rather than truly looking for His will. God created the universe. He created the very essence of life, DNA. Why would someone such as I, created, question the Creator?
Romans 9:20 English Standard Version (ESV); “But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, ‘Why have you made me like this?’ Or “Why have You done it as this?”
It absolutely floors me to hear people talk about changing the Bible to make it more modern. We need to change ourselves to make us more Biblical. If you question the validity of the Bible and It’s application to today, then you really do not know God. I often have people question or misinterpret the Bible. Now these are the same people who read the Bible only occasionally and study it virtually never.
2 Timothy 3:16 New International Version (NIV); “All Scripture is God-breathedand is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness.”
Of course at its basic premise, this verse is telling us to use Scripture as a guide for our life. NOT to change scripture but to use it for teaching, challenging and correcting us all. We too often don’t even pay attention to the first few words:  “All Scripture is God-breathed”. Wow, God breathed. Once again, if you do not feel the significance of this then you do not know God! If you do not feel His power and ability to utterly destroy His enemies; then you do not know God.
Romans 1:18 New International Version (NIV); “The wrath of Godis being revealed from Heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness.”
Too often science has proof without any certainty while the Bible offers certainty without the need for proof.
