MISSION PROJECT FOR OCTOBER -   During October we will begin collecting food items for the  "We're Here for You" Food Drive.  This is a state-wide project for South Carolina Southern Baptists. The food will be distributed to the needy on Saturday, November 9, at the Saluda Baptist Association.  Please bring non perishable foods such as canned goods, peanut butter, dried beans, rice, cereal, etc., and place in the baskets in each Sunday School class or in the basket in the Welcome Center.  We will recognize the Sunday School classes that have outstanding participation.

Also, we will continue to take donations for the Prisoner Packets that will be distributed to prisoners during December.  Prisoner Packet list is below.† Thank you for participating in these projects.

MISSION INVOLVEMENT NIGHT -

On Wednesday, October 23, we will have a night where we will learn about the needs of different charitable ministries in our area.  We will begin at 5:30 pm with a covered dish meal in the gym.  This meal will be for the whole church family. There will be displays with information about the various organizations and ministries.  After the meal, at 6:45 pm  we will hear from representatives from each ministry.  This will take the place of our regular Wednesday night Prayer service and Bible Study. Through this activity, we can learn more about ways we can Serve God by Helping Others.  Bring covered dish/dishes for you and your family and enjoy a time of fellowship with your church family.
