October to November is my favor time of the year.  I love the crisp cooler weather that comes early mornings and late nights that begs for a little heavier jacket. The vibrant hues of red, orange, and purples seen throughout the town and on the mountains tell me that fall is here.  And the smells of fallen leaves mixed with the pungent smells of burning wood makes me want to curl up with a good book.  Oh how I love the fall.

But sitting down to a good book won’t be possible this fall, too much to do. I want to make sure that everyone is aware that the annual Associational Meeting will be at Concord Baptist Church on Sunday evening October 6th. Concord will have a special children’s venue and host the adults for the meeting. North Anderson Baptist Church will host the youth here in our gym.  We are expecting 200 to 300 youth that night and want our youth to participate. We will be serving pizza provided by the Saluda Baptist Association.  Our theme is #MOVEMENT and we will be talking about Acts. The band will be Mosaic from Anderson University and Travis Agnew will be our speaker. It will be a great time so encourage our youth to be here in the gym at 5:30pm.

Children on October 26th we will have our Children’s Fall Festival starting at 2pm. There will be plenty of fun for all who attend so you will not want to miss it.

The Gospel According to Jonah (2nd 6 weeks)

Delve into a world with missteps, disobedience, and idolatry. In other words, our world and our lives. Participants will recognize the “Jonah” in them as well as get more than a foreshadowing of Jesus and the God who pursues us relentlessly.

Heaven (2nd 6 weeks)

Satan, the author of confusion, seeks to rob Christians of joy by distorting the magnificent world to come.  This study helps believers find that joy by transforming their perspective and helping them find victory in their Christian walk.

Discovering God’s Way of Handling Money

(1st & 2nd 6 weeks)

Did you know that the Bible is a blueprint for managing your finances? There are more than 2350 verses that address everything you need to know about handling money. Not only is Discovering God's Way of Handling Money practical, but in it you will learn the profound impact managing money has on your relationship with God.

Anointed Transformed, Redeemed

(12 weeks)

Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer and Kay Arthur present the life of David in this Bible Study.  Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life: as a young man, as a middle aged man, and as a facing the final third of his life.  You’ll laugh and cry with them, and learn to love God with them.
