Dear Friends,

“What God Has Provided!”  What a theme for our 70th Anniversary/Homecoming on October 4th. God has provided for us in such abundance.  In the morning service at 10:30 am, we will celebrate 70 years of being the “Light of God’s Love” to Anderson and the world!  Come glorify the Lord Jesus with us!  Our prayer is that every member and former member, as well as guests, will join us in celebrating how great our God and what great things He has done for us.  Dr. Mack Burris, our last former pastor, will be our guest speaker for the morning.  After the service we will share in a wonderful meal together (RSVP needed, call the office 864-225-2575 or go on line at www.northandersonbaptist.com, by September 23).

In conjunction with our Homecoming, we will have a Building Dedication Service at

2 pm. That Sunday will be our first day in the new building.  The Rev. Don Owens and his choir from New Hopewell Baptist Church will be here to help us celebrate this special occasion. You will not want to miss this very special time of encouragement and inspirational music.  God has been so gracious to provide this new and remodeled space for His church to reach out to all Anderson with His love.  Come celebrate and share in the beginning of a new era for North Anderson Baptist Church.

On another note, our new Small Groups for the fall will begin on October 11 at 6pm.  There is a place for everyone.  A review of all the new small groups and an opportunity to sign-up for one of them will be on Sunday September 27th at 6 pm.  You may sign up earlier as given a chance between now and then.  The following are the Small Groups that are available:  Women’s Bible Study, Lynda Rigsby; Men’s Fraternity, Kirk Smith; Sanctuary Bible Study; Cooking Class, Steve Morgan; God’s Gifted Hands, Diana Beall; Tiny Hands (Teaching babies and parents sign language), Julia Bramlett; Youth Small Groups, Boys, Paul Janssen; Girls, Bethany Fant and Amy Janssen; Children’s Small Groups.  have an idea for a different kind of Small Group, please call me and let me know.
