Our normal Labor Day Picnic will be held here on the church on the lawn by the gym on September 6th at 9:30 am. We are asking all our families to join us as we celebrate together, with social distancing and masks, this great time of fellowship. Each family is to bring their own food, via a picnic basket, of anything they would like to eat and drink. Since we can’t serve our families this year we won’t be able to provide anything but ice to the families that come. If you bring a container, then we will have ice on hand that you can get from the large chest that will be up close to the building. There will be music from Kiley and the musical ensemble and we will sing old hymns together. There will be a short message and we will possibly even have a baptism in the sanctuary. Hopefully starting at 9:30 am we will be as cool as possible, and should last until around 11 am. If the weather is bad we will have the service in the gym and other classrooms that might need to be used. We ask that you park in the back section of the parking lot or we can do tail-gating throughout the parking facilities. Don’t forget to bring a tent for your family if you desire. We look forward to seeing all of you and any guests you might bring as we worship the Lord and fellowship with our fellow believers.
